This course will give the viewer a better idea of how drum beats are constructed in some of the biggest songs in various electronic music genres. The viewer will learn how to analyze drum beats and transcribe them so it is easier to recreate drum beats they hear, and they will also learn more about how drum beats are arranged throughout the course of a song. During this process they will learn about what drum kits are typically used as starting points for certain genres, how to program drum fills of different types, and how to import and warp songs they may want to transcribe in the future.
